Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern DevCentra™, provided by A-Zing Innovations on web, desktop, and mobile. By creating an A-Zing account, activating access, or using the tools, you agree to these Terms. They supplement the Privacy Policy, the A-Zing Terms of Service, and the Refunds pages.

1. Account and devices

Authentication and credits are from A-Zing and are used on DevCentra and other A-Zing-owned products. DevCentra does not issue a separate login or credit currency. Access to tools requires your A-Zing account, an account license with a registered device (where the apps require it), and an active day-pass purchased with A-Zing credits. There is no separate sold application license SKU.

You may register up to three devices in total, across any mix of computer, Mac, Linux, Windows, mobile, or tablet. Device type does not grant extra seats. You are responsible for revoking devices you no longer control.

2. Access: ETOW

DevCentra currently offers ETOW as the public day-pass for the DevCentra tool catalog. You choose a duration (today, multiple days, or auto-deduct each local day). ETOW does not include APICentra call packs; those are reserved separately from your Wallet.

  • ETOW costs 1 credit per local day. Jobs take one file, except Join/Merge PDF which may take several files in one run. New jobs are spaced 10 seconds apart (a timer is shown, then the run starts). My Work for new jobs stays on the device that ran them.

Unused days are not refunded once a pass window is activated. Auto-deduct continues until credits are exhausted or you turn it off. Lottery free passes, if any, apply only to a 1-day ETOW activation and have no cash value.

3. Job tools and Copy tools

Services in the catalog are labeled Job / download or Copy on page.

  • Job / download: Creates a work item. May accept uploads and produce downloadable files. Job results appear in My Work. ETOW one-file rules, spacing, and retention apply to Jobs.
  • Copy on page: Runs in the client UI. You copy a text result (for example a cron expression, color value, chmod mode, URL, Dockerfile, or nginx snippet). Copy tools do not create a Job, do not produce retained work files, and are not listed as downloads in My Work. They still require an active day pass. A short recent-copy list may stay on your device only and is not a Job.

4. Using the tools

  • There is no Job-count cap while a pass window is live.
  • You are responsible for the files and form data you submit on Job tools, including any personal data of others, and for how you use results you copy from Copy tools.
  • StartUp document generators (invoices, NDAs, privacy policies, terms, and similar PDFs) are drafting templates only. They are not legal advice. Have counsel licensed in your jurisdiction review anything before you sign, publish, or rely on it.
  • Optional passwords on compression or ZIP/PDF outputs encrypt that job’s files. If you lose the password, we cannot recover the content.
  • SSH and SFTP connections you save are for hosts you are authorised to use. Dual-pane workspace sessions and last-host indicators do not grant extra access rights.

5. Files, My Work, and retention

Input and output files for a Job work item are kept on DevCentra for 29 days from submission, then emailed to your account address and deleted, unless you opt in to Keep my files in Access settings (default is off). After deletion, only a work record (not the file contents) may remain. You may delete file bytes from My Work at any time. You are responsible for copies you need beyond that window.

Copy on page tools do not create retained work files; the 29-day file policy does not apply to them. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use DevCentra to attack systems you do not own or have permission to test, to distribute malware, or to process data unlawfully. We may suspend access for abuse, non-payment, or legal risk. Connection tools are provided for your own infrastructure.

7. Credits, Share to Care, and refunds

Credits are issued and purchased through A-Zing and may be used on eligible A-Zing-owned products, including DevCentra. Share to Care lets a registered user transfer up to 50% of their current Wallet balance to another registered A-Zing user by email, at most once per calendar day. Transfers are final, have no cash value, and do not move day passes or reserved APICentra calls. Credit packs, Share to Care, and activated day passes follow the Refunds & Cancellations policy and the A-Zing Terms of Service. History-only access with no live pass is not a paid product.
